Jeffrey Labovitch Slated to Speak at Upcoming DRI Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute

Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP partner Jeffrey N. Labovitch will speak at the Defense Research Institute's annual Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute being held April 3-5, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois.
Jeff will present on the topic of "Contractual and Common Law Risk Transfer" which will be part of the "Construction Track" on the conference's last day. Jeff will discuss the subtle differences found in indemnity contracts and provide an in-depth analysis on how various state anti-indemnity statutes may affect risk transfer on a construction project,

Jeff is licensed in both California and Nevada and has defended and prosecuted challenging and complex insurance issues at the trial and appellate levels. A frequent presenter on a variety of insurance coverage issues, he also uses his experience in educating claims handlers on legal requirements and case updates, and with training on California's Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations.
