April 2, 2014 - April 4, 2014
Nicolaides LLP's Bob Marshall presented RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE DUTY TO DEFEND at the Defense Research Institute’s Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute (“ICCI”) in Chicago, Illinois.
The ICCI presented attendees real-world insights on recent developments in foundational insurance law concepts, such as the tripartite relationship and good faith claims handling during the conference held April 2-4, 2014. The Institute also addressed hot topic issues poised to impact the legal landscape, including the 2013 changes to the ISO Forms and the emergence of the Coverage B “super-exclusion.”
A seasoned litigator with over 20 years’ experience, Bob focuses his practice on successfully protecting clients’ interests in jury trials, bench trials, appeals, arbitrations and mediations across the United States. Bob recently secured a significant client victory arguing there was no duty to defend Sony Corporation of America in connection with lawsuits brought on behalf of millions of PlayStation Network users whose personal information was stolen in a massive data security breach.
