Kayla was an associate at a large AmLaw 200 law firm, where she handled commercial litigation. Before that, Kayla served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera, Chief Judge for the Maryland Court of Appeals.While in law school, Kayla was a member of the Moot Court and Women Law Students Association and served on the Black Law Students Association and Labor and Employment Law Society.
