Before Nicolaides

Kayla launched her legal career as an intern, researching clients’ criminal records using county databases and crafting petitions for record expungement and sealing.
 
Kayla has also worked for the Illinois affiliate of one of the largest national civil rights organizations supporting prisoner’s rights litigation and served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois through the American Bar Association’s Judicial Intern Opportunity Program (JIOP).

Outside Nicolaides

Kayla lives in Evanston with her husband, dog, and two cats. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors.
