Insurance Coverage Counseling and Litigation Associate - San Francisco
Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP seeks dynamic and talented attorneys with civil litigation or insurance coverage experience to join our team. Attorneys with commercial litigation experience who are interested in focusing on insurance coverage issues are encouraged to apply.
Our firm represents the interests of the insurance industry around the world. Our clients, located in Bermuda, London, Tokyo, and throughout the United States, seek our advice on complex, high-exposure risks across the U.S. and abroad. Our attorneys evaluate insurance coverage issues and litigate insurance coverage disputes under a variety of insurance products.
This is an exceptional opportunity to handle challenging and complex issues and disputes (litigated and non-litigated) involving a wide array of industries, subject matters, and legal principles while also developing expertise in a constantly evolving practice area. Our firm promotes a highly collaborative work environment, where attorneys work directly alongside partners in all six offices, have regular client contact, and are encouraged to develop client relationships.
Civil litigation or insurance coverage experience is required. Candidates must possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Associate attorney compensation ranges from $140,000 to $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with the potential for annual performance-based raises and discretionary bonuses. The firm provides benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also eligible to enroll in the 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan, which includes employer contributions.
