Jodi Green to Speak at ABA's 2019 Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee Seminar

January 16, 2019

Jodi S. Green will serve as a panelist at the American Bar Association's 31st Annual Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar, which will take place in Tucson, Arizona from February 27 to March 2, 2019. During the session "What Every Coverage Lawyer Should Know About Preserving Error at Trial and on Appeal," Jodi and her fellow panelists, including two sitting Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals' judges, will offer insights on significant appellate issues, including certification of questions of state law, and how to best protect clients from waiving error in the trial court and on appeal.

This year's ABA seminar will also cover developments in insurance law regarding many of today's most controversial issues, including the #MeToo movement, artificial intelligence, gun violence, and climate change, as well as present an analysis of 2018's top 10 coverage decisions and their impact on the insurance industry.

In addition to her appellate work, Jodi focuses on insurance coverage counseling, with an emphasis on high-exposure matters involving excess coverage and the Bermuda market, including opioid claims. A partner with Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP, Jodi is a frequent speaker and author on a variety of topics, including emerging insurance issues and the art and substance of legal writing.
