Jodi Green and Kelly Nugent Present at ABA's 2020 Insurance Coverage Litigation Seminar

Jodi S. Green and Kelly T. Nugent will both participate in panels at the American Bar Association Section of Litigation's 32nd Annual Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar on March 4-7, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona.
Presenting on a panel comprised of lawyers and insurance brokers, Kelly's session "'Event-Driven' Securities and Derivative Lawsuits and How D&O Insurance May Provide Appropriate Cover," will address the increase in "event-driven litigation" and how D&O insurance could provide appropriate coverage for subsequent securities and derivative lawsuits and related government investigations. Jodi and her fellow panelists' presentation "Into the Weeds: Evolving Risks and Coverage Issues Involving Cannabis," will discuss the progression of cannabis from an illegal substance to partial legalization and social acceptance, examining the complexities arising from the Farm Bill and analyzing the markets, claims and litigation exposure, insurance policies, and coverage issues impacted by its legalization.
